Duties and Responsibilities:
The Global Marketing Manager reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer of the Company. The Global Marketing Manager shall direct the activities and functions of the Marketing Department to provide media, data and other promotional materials representing the Company on a worldwide basis. Operate well in a decentralized, global environment, partnering effectively with colleagues worldwide. Understand marketing strategies and develop approaches to support Sales and other departments to meet corporate sales and profit goals by becoming a true partner to the Sales organization. Identify opportunities to expand and enhance the Company’s market position and brand equity. Ensure the brand standards are adhered to. Lead design campaigns for advertising, and customer support of the Company. Facilitate and manage all major trade show and advertising activities worldwide. Create innovative possibilities to promote the corporate image. Conduct surveys and market research to supply leads, databases and current trends and interests, as well as customer satisfaction. Manage the public relations activities of the Company. Coordinate public relations and investor relations messages. Oversight of the corporate website, ExOne Intranet and social media/digital media campaigns.
Suggest ideas to stimulate and guide the Marketing group. Provide direction to team members as to the required product needed from individual efforts. Coordinate activities with management goals and resources expected from the department. Oversee the specific tasks performed and maintain focus on desired output on a timely basis. Review individual performance and accomplishments. Handle multiple priorities and services for a variety of internal and external customers.
Attend and participate in any education and training required by the Company. Follow all Company policies and procedures, assuring compliance throughout the department. Represent the company in a highly professional manner and enhance company image. Protect all technology and trade information and Company assets.
BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media Production or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Ten years’ progressive experience in communications, public relations or marketing environment on a global level. Knowledge of multimedia technologies and capabilities. Available for travel as needed. Outstanding communications skills, both verbal and written. Proficient with Sales Force and campaign management. Proficient with computer including Microsoft Office, use of Internet and other software applications. Valid driver’s license and passport/Visa.
Ability to move freely in a manufacturing environment and also travel to customers, trade shows and related activities. Manual dexterity and manipulation to operate a computer and various types of printing or broadcast equipment. Visual acuity to read and edit print and film materials. Domestic and international travel required.
