Senior HR Business Partner
Location: Seattle, WA
Department: People Team
Porch is looking for a dynamic HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team. This position reports into the VP, People and is a strategic adviser to management and employees in our Seattle, WA. The successful candidate will oversee activities including employee relations, workforce planning, organizational integration and culture building and leading the California based HR Generalist team.

What You Will Do
Collaborate with business leadership, VP, People and broader People team to establish HR plans and solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results.
Partner with leaders at multiple levels and their teams to develop and execute People strategies and activities that foster growth, innovation and organizational effectiveness. This includes implementing programs, processes and tools to help set managers and employees up for success.
Assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development and leadership development and drive the appropriate solutions in these areas.
Partner with business leadership to find opportunities to attract, develop and retain people to achieve their fullest potential.
Coach and counsel managers on maintaining positive employee relations for a wide range of issues.
Support the analysis and facilitation of leadership and cultural initiatives. Use influence and coaching skills to cultivate a culture that reflects our core values.
Act as liaison between employees and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations.
Lead the communication and rollout of HR programs and projects.
Lead cross-team initiatives across U.S. locations.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree.
5+ years of HR-related experience.
Experience with project management leadership in a fast-paced environment with multiple and sometimes changing priorities.
Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, compliance and practices and a passion for developing, executing and maintaining HR projects and programs.
Proven ability to diagnose problems using critical thinking skills and identify and drive appropriate solutions.
Experience with negotiation, conflict resolution and coaching skills.
Able to work both on a team (as member and/or leader) and independently to deliver results.
Ability to travel 15%.
