Job Description: Are you passionate about interior design and eager to learn and grow in a creative environment? If so, our AutoCAD Junior Interior Designer position is the perfect opportunity for you. As an intern or entry-level member of our team, you will play a key role in turning design concepts into reality. Your primary focus will be on using AutoCAD to translate design ideas into detailed plans and assisting in the creation of visually stunning presentations using Illustrator and Photoshop.
Responsibilities:
- CAD Drafting: Create detailed and accurate AutoCAD drawings and plans based on design concepts provided by senior interior designers. This includes floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models.
- Design Ideation: Brainstorm and develop creative interior design solutions that align with the company vision and project goals.
- Visualization: Assist in bringing design concepts to life by using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create visually appealing mood boards, renderings, and presentation materials.
- Material Selection: Assist in researching and selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain organized project files, design records, and documentation to facilitate effective communication within the team.
- Learning and Development: Continuously expand your knowledge of interior design trends, software, and best practices through ongoing training and mentorship.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic and/or Interior Design or related field (or currently enrolled in a relevant program).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and space planning.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for design visualization.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Ability to multitask and meet project deadlines.
- A strong portfolio showcasing relevant coursework or personal design projects is a plus.
