MICO (Me-Co) KIDS EVENTS is a special events planning and production company specializing in social, casual parties and events for Toddlers, Children, Teens and Young adults up to the age of 24. We produce birthday parties, varied theme parties, outdoor events, youth concerts, school events, fundraisers and the like all for the benefit of young people exclusively. We are currently building a roster of reliable, energetic, interested people who want the experience of working with an Event Planner and or to further their career in the industry.

We are seeking the following individuals with relevant experience in these areas on a contractual/temporary basis for our call back roster.

PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESUMES 1 PAGE! with the last 2 to 10 yrs Max work experience, otherwise it will automatically get rejected! As this job is remote, however, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN THE TRIAD AREA or surrounding cities at least up to an hour away from High Point!


Applicants must live up to an hour away from company HQ in High Point, NC to be considered for any position. Necessary and relevant experience a must. Contract jobs would be specifically for Freelancers such as Caterers, DJ's and Photographers.

  • Private Security (For large private events 50 guests and up, in or outdoors)
  • Drivers (for rental trucks, company staff and "Party Bus" event guests transportation needs)
  • Independent Caterers/Food Truck Operators
  • Videographer/Photographer
  • Craft Artists to create personalized, unique Party Decor
  • Balloon Artists (for centerpieces, columns, arches etc)
  • Festive Fabricators (Crafterpersons who can create large decor such as ones seen on parade floats out of wood, foam, light metal)
  • Amusement Greeters/Game Hosts
  • Freelance Mobile DJ
  • Wait Staff/Bartenders/"Mocktail" Servers & Baristas
  • Costumed Character Performers
  • Face painters
  • Production Staff (To help set up event space with tables, chairs, decor, A/V etc.)
  • Post event clean up staff

You will be guided and supervised by the Events Coordinators and Team Leaders as to What to do Where to go, Where to place decor, Tables, chairs, equipment etc. and Where to set up if you are a Bartender, DJ, Face painter or concessions, games & amusements operator. You will be required to wear the company uniform and will not have to deal with clients if you can help it. Your leaders will brief you on the details of every event you will be called to work.

Salary: $14.50 to $50.00 /hour
