Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking Senior Oracle Apex Developer. The candidate must have advanced APEX programming experience, organization skills, and the ability to multi-task. The successful candidate should also have a strong desire to learn new technologies, to become an expert in their field, and the willingness and confidence to develop safety-class, mission-critical software.
Advanced or expert experience analyzing, designing, developing, modifying, testing, debugging, reverse engineering, and implementing APEX applications.
Extensive knowledge and experience with DB design and utilization of relational databases as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Oracle APEX 5.x/19.x/20.x and Oracle Database 18c/19c
SQL, PL/SQL (procedures, functions, packages), cursors, triggers, collections, transactional modeling, database normalization, indexing methods, constraints, and object usage
Performance tuning (SQL Trace, Explain Plan, Indexing, Hints, Bulk Binds, Bulk Collect), security, auditing, metadata management, and other data solutions of mission-critical software
APEX interactive reports, interactive grids, collections, graphs, dashboards, and generating PDF reports
APEX security, authentication, and authorization schemes
Documentation, training, maintaining, upgrading, and reverse engineering of APEX applications
Data processing, data loading, automation improvements, data integrity, and data presentation
Experience consuming and authoring RESTful and SOAP web services.
Experience with distributed version control systems like Git and/or TFS.
Development, system performance, availability, reliability, security, recoverability and code efficiency
Experience working within Scrum or some other Agile framework
Self-motivated, must want to go off to do the work with little guidance.
Experienced in older versions of Apex and can manage workflow through system changes and documentation.
Significant experience building applications using Oracle Application Express – APEX
Database experience with DB design, SQL, and PL/SQL
Familiarity with information security tools, authentication accessing printers, scanners and other peripherals (integration of bar codes, passages, APIs, APEX Office Print 21.x)
Experience with implementing standard out of the box features in Apex 21.2

Time Management: You should have strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to work on multiple products and issues simultaneously.
Education/Experience – Level III: This position requires a relevant bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight plus years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working with Agile (Scrum) methodologies and continous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
Experience upgrading, supporting, extending, and enhancing Commercial off the Shelf Products (COTS) or Cloud applications
