Essex Mortgage is seeking an effective and reliable Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team! This position will be in-office based out of Ocala, FL.
Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding employees. This position is also responsible to ensure employees are satisfied in their positions and promote an inclusive and welcoming work environment.

Essential Duties:
- Partner with hiring managers and HR Manager to understand talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Utilize various recruitment tools, systems, and methods to source and attract a pool of qualified and diverse candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn and other recruiting methods.
- Provide initial screening of applicants, as well as phone screens or interviews where applicable.
- Manage the interview process, including scheduling interviews and gathering feedback from hiring managers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the full-cycle recruitment process.
- Coordinate and administer pre-screening assessments.
- Extend job offers, negotiate terms, and guide candidates through the hiring process.
- Handle onboarding and assist in conducting new hire orientations.
- Generate recruitment reports and metrics for analysis and decision making.
- Maintain the organization structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Responsible for understanding and keeping up to date with employment and hiring laws as they pertain to each state.
- Maintains confidentiality of department and associate information in accordance with company internal polices and external laws.
- Work collaboratively with other members of HR team and provides recommendations for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- 2+ years of experience conducting full life cycle recruiting.
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
- Prior experience developing, managing and improving processes to achieve great efficiency and performance.
Physical Requirement
- Vision (with or without correction) sufficient to read a computer screen at 20 inches and to operate office equipment or a car
- Clear speaking on the telephone and in person; hearing within normal ranges in noise environments typical of office
- Able to sit for long periods of time at computer or other work station and in meetings
- Able to finger and feel in order to use equipment, computers and operate equipment
- Able to lift 10 pounds occasionally unassisted
