Subaru of Portland has an immediate opening for a Used Vehicle Department Manager.
In 2020 we sold over 2,750 new and pre-owned vehicles. We are one of the largest volume Subaru Certified Pre-Owned dealers in the country.
We’re seeking someone with a minimum of 3 years of Used Vehicle Department management and a full grasp of today’s digital Retail Used Vehicle environment.
Applicants must be proficient in vAuto and have a complete understanding of what it takes to produce sales volume and gross in a large dealership.
Our Used Vehicle Manager is responsible for the profitability of the used vehicle department while assisting the new vehicle department in achieving sales goals.
Used vehicle acquisition through the trade-in process, purchasing inventory off the street and on auction platforms at the correct market value is critical.
The Used Vehicle Department Manager’s duties include; weekly market-based re-pricing of used inventory, internet and lot merchandising, 75-day aging policy, 72 hours from acquisition to lot process and maintaining high used vehicle inventory levels.
