The GE Aviation Junior Officer Leadership Program (JOLP) is a unique opportunity for top Junior Officer Military Officers whom have made the decision to transition from the military and to jump start their careers in corporate America and the aviation industry. JOLP is a two-year rotational program, comprised of three high-impact eight-month rotations in different business functions throughout GE Aviation.
The JOLP internship is a new program beginning summer 2019 designed to create an opportunity for high performing Veterans at the nation’s elite graduate schools to be immersed in GE Aviation’s culture and business rhythm. During the internship, candidates will be placed in a role in the Commercial Engine Operations, Engine Services, or Supply Chain divisions. In these roles, the student will gain real-time exposure to business challenges and impactful projects of strategic and tactical importance.
Our program goal is to prepare each student for a potential position as a member of the JOLP full-time program upon graduation. Those accepted into the full-time program will be put into a 2-year rotational program, giving them a broad business experience and exposure to one of our business divisions at GE Aviation. Each rotation is thoughtfully designed to help the JOLP build business acumen, solve difficult problems, and gain leadership exposure.
Fulltime JOLP rotations include:
Commercial Engine Operations
Military Systems Operations
Sales and Marketing
