We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients with various tasks and activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort. Duties:
- Provide senior care services, including assisting with daily activities and personal care
- Perform heavy lifting as required to assist clients with mobility
- Utilize social work skills to provide emotional support and companionship
- Manage behaviors and implement behavior management strategies when necessary
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the client's environment
- Coordinate appointments and transportation for clients as needed
Skills:
- Experience in senior care, or patient care is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Strong social work skills, including empathy, active listening, and communication
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with nursing home or assisted living environments is beneficial
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
