An Accounting firm Located in Wildwood Florida, serving clients throughout the United States is looking for full-time or Part time CPA with the following experience:
- The ability to communicate effectively with associates.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Be Proactive not Reactive.
- Ability to file 1040, 1120, 1120s, 1041, 1065, and 990 returns.
- Ability to produce Income Statement, Balance Sheets and Bank Reconciliation
- Ability to Manage/Hire People and a Branch
Knowledge of bookkeeping is needed for this position; the ideal candidate will have worked with a CPA Firm or Accounting Firm in the past. If you currently own your on firm, we welcome you to submit your information/resume as well. Candidates will be handling confidential information from different business and individual clients from all over the country.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
Under direction of CEO and VP, this candidate will perform a variety of general accounting tasks including, but not limited to, data entry, reconciliation of bank, credit and investment accounts, sales tax returns, income tax filling, quarterly/annual payroll tax returns and annual information returns (1099), bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in all aspects of accounting
- Strong knowledge of Intuit QuickBooks, Desk Top & Online;
- Familiarity with Intuit ProConnect Tax System (a plus)
- Strong organization skills
- High attention to detail with ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills.
- Tax return preparation experience required & PTIN.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education required.
- CPA designee Required.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and high integrity
- Attendance must be a 10 out of 10.
