In this key role as a lead, you will work with multiple feature development teams within Starbucks Technology to actively participate in deployment strategies. This is a critical role within the deployment team to enable key business capabilities for our stores. This role requires strong leadership skills, expertise in requirements analysis, solution design, process improvement, and effectively collaborating across various IT and business functions. In addition to leading the delivery and sustainment of new technology solutions and guiding the enhancement/support of existing systems, you will contribute technical, functional and process expertise, provide thought leadership and drive innovation, negotiate and facilitate alignment, and coach/mentor less experienced analysts.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Supports project initiation efforts by assisting in the definition of project scope and leading the identification/selection of targeted solution(s) | Assists project management in the development of work plans, effort estimates, and delivery timelines.
Gathers, analyzes and documents solution requirements | Facilitates user story creation and backlog grooming in an agile delivery environment.
Leverages relevant process and technology proficiency to propose optimal solution options for delivering required capabilities. Creates solutions designs utilizing human-centered design techniques | Considers overall user experience in thoughtfully designing engaging solutions.
Coordinates with business, development, and testing teams and leverages relevant process and technology proficiency
to propose optimal solution(s) options delivering required business capabilities.
Proactively identifies and effectively assesses improvement opportunities (productivity/efficiency gains, cost savings, etc.).
Utilizes agile delivery methodologies and participates on scrum team(s) in execution of solution delivery projects.
Utilizes LEAN techniques to develop business process designs and guide operations improvements via process re-engineering efforts.
System Configuration & Testing
Performs and establish framework for other users for application configuration (i.e., create attributes, workflows and UI changes) in support of solution delivery initiatives.
Partners with development team in agile design/development of custom solution components.
Supports solution testing efforts by developing test plans, leading preparation of test environments for successful test execution, and criteria for test pass results.
Demonstrates system proficiency and leverages subject matter expertise to assess issue trends and lead root cause analysis.
Coordinates issue resolution with vendors and/or cross-functional teams | Provides timely and thorough communication regarding issue status/resolution with end-users and other key stakeholders.
Creates and maintains systems documentation, e.g., Wiki, Knowledge Base Articles | Develops and facilitates system training.
Provides 24*7 global support of critical systems.
Partners closely with the business and proposes solutions/improvements with measurable value.
Ability to drive projects and tasks to completion.
Facilitate retrospectives and drive for process improvement.
Leads delivery efforts involving multi-tracks of work | Interfaces comfortably across all organization levels.
Works effectively in a self-directed manner with minimal direction from lead and/or manager.
Generates new ideas and influences decisions within and outside team.
Mentors team members and peers in developing required technical skills, functional knowledge, and business acumen.
Demonstrates knowledge of industry trends and innovative thought leadership.
Summary of Experience
Relevant functional and business process experience
Solution design, testing and implementation experience
Applicable application and system configuration experience
Production support, system maintenance, upgrades and enhancement delivery experience
7+ years of relevant experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to couple technology expertise with deep understanding of business requirements to design and deploy highly reliable, scalable, and sustainable global technology solutions.
Strong knowledge of configuration and integration points of relevant applications/modules/platforms.
Collaboratively and objectively assesses benefits, costs, and viability of proposed solution options and drives alignment across a diverse group of stakeholders.
Leverages human-centered design concepts in conjunction with agile prototyping, development, and testing to deploy highly engaging technology solutions to the end user.
Applies knowledge of business principles and technology practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional activities.
Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of systems development lifecycle and IT operations.
Demonstrates critical thinking and an analytical foundation to problem solving
