The Account Director leads the successful delivery and growth of ABM’s services to a specific customer. The Account Director is responsible for the service delivery, overall function and strategic direction of the large scale janitorial and building maintenance program for a high technology client in Santa Clara, CA.

This person will be key in launching and building the program. This person will hire and lead the best talent that will deliver exceptional service and expertise that will satisfy and delight the customer. They will listen, understand and anticipate client needs. They will never cease to find new ideas and opportunities to strengthen and expand our services for this client.

The Account Director is the key client relationship manager who monitors overall account performance, marshals’ resources, consolidates operational and financial reports, prepares annual budget projections, monitors performance metrics, resolves governance matters, coordinates team meetings, develops team member goals and objectives, and cultivates team performance.

Calls for a person who is action oriented with an ability to think strategically while also maintaining a passion for tactical level execution.

Keeps an active finger on the ‘pulse’ of the Market. This includes technology, legal, compensation, competitive, economic and specified talent pool related changes

Tracks performance to key performance indicators, and underlying service level agreements, implementing performance improvement plans as needed

Manages the need of team members to maximize learning, value and productivity while minimizing turnover.

Develop department level operating procedures and process that meet or exceed contractual obligations

Eight to ten years as an experienced Janitorial /Service Manager with an extensive background managing all aspects of janitorial operations.

Must be able to write reports and business correspondence and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.

Bachelor of Science in Business welcomed, or other area of expertise combined with relevant work experience

Demonstrates superior oral, written and strategic abilities. Ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders.

Displays strong analytical abilities both quantitative and qualitative

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management

Strong Organization and time management skills

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Performs a variety of complicated tasks - certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Business proposal and updates presentation skills

Bi-lingual ( Spanish and English) welcomed

Inspection and monitoring of large site- walking long distances may be required
