Reports to Sr. Director, Corporate FP&A Ops with high visibility and engagement with the CFO, VP FP&A, SVP Treasury, SVP Corporate Controller and their teams.
Lead a global team of ~3 and works very closely with VP, FP&A, Director FP&A Cash, Investor Relations, and 3 Regional Business Finance VPs
Accountable for WW total Baxter enterprise sales (>$12B) and income forecasting to be used for updates with the CEO, CFO, Board of Directors, and used for external guidance with Investor Relations.
High visibility with SLT, owning all of the materials going to the BOD. Provide the CEO and CFO with enterprise-wide analytics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set the drumbeat for finance; lead key processes across Global Finance (MRR QRR, Forecasts, LRP, AOP, Earnings)
Provide real time updates on performance, implications, and recommended actions
Enterprise-wide sales and income forecasting – incorporating not just a roll up of bottoms up but using external data and analytics to provide insights to CEO and CFO
Target setting recommendations on sales and income
Create materials for the CEO, CFO and Board of Directors, including providing financial analysis and commentary
Calculation and reporting on organizational incentive program performance and payout, inclusive of executive compensation programs (working closely with Global Compensation)
Senior level leader with strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
Change agent with ability to effectively manage and drive impactful change across multiple geographies and functions
Ability to lead and operate in a team-oriented environment and influence cross-functional stakeholders
Strong process mindset and proven success in leading business initiatives to deliver large scale process improvements
Strong technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of internal control requirements and accounting principles as well as understanding of relevant business environment
Strong ownership mentality; maintains focus on driving projects to completion and delivering output/results
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks concurrently; owns career and is accountable for managing own development
Strong financial and business acumen; familiar with financial systems and various aspects of financial reporting
80/20 work approach, ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple on-going projects
Ability to distill insights from complex analyses and create concise and compelling presentations to senior leadership audience
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (or country equivalent).
MBA and/or CPA.
Healthcare and/or pharma or medical device industry experience preferred10+ years of working experience with at least 3 -5 years within FP&A in a large multinational organization
This position can be located remotely within the US, except for Colorado.
