Join a well-funded, internationally based cyber security company seeking a Director of Sales for their Boston office. The position reports directly to the CEO and the ideal candidate will lead and manage all the sales activities in the U.S.
Serve as the senior member of the U.S. sales team.
In coordination with the CEO:
Develop and institute sales processes that will be predictable, repeatable and scalable.
Develop and execute highly effective customer acquisition models to win new clients.
Provide an annual sales plan and providing quarterly updates, revisions, and modifications to the plan.
Coordinating the specific objectives of the sales plan within the organization working closely with operations, engineering, and finance.
Establish both market and target customer strategies.
Ultimate responsibility for meeting top line sales goals in the United States.
A proven understanding of the customer journey from first interest to buy decision and from first use to full roll-out.
Experience with channel partners is a plus.
The Ideal Candidate Must:

Keep up to date on the market, industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
Collaborate with marketing to drive successful and innovative lead generation programs for sales.
Analyze and present critical business metrics for evaluation of sales performance with a focus on key behaviors that support the sales cycle and provide visibility of progress towards sales goals.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
10 years progressive professional enterprise software sales experience.
Possesses outstanding consultative/solution selling abilities and excellent interpersonal communication.
Strong personal presence with ability to engage at C-level in strategic dialogue, develop ROI based business cases, accelerate sales cycles, and negotiate and close large deals.
Highly analytical, organized, process-focused, and computer savvy; must have experience in developing, implementing and accessing new market opportunities.
An innovative and strategic mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
Team player who engenders trust and integrity with all stakeholders, including employees, customers, investors, and strategic partners and enjoys rolling-up-the-sleeves.
