Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience developing and managing partnerships in the healthcare industry.
Experience managing cross-functional internal stakeholders.
Experience building senior-level partner relationships.
Advanced degree in Science or health-related field.
Experience, professional contacts and network in healthcare systems in the US.
Knowledge of Healthcare businesses and ecosystems.
Ability to clarify complex issues to internal and external audiences.
Ability to structure creative agreement structures and develop conceptual solutions.
Strong communication skills.
About the job
As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.
Google Health Business Development team partners closely with the product, engineering, clinical teams and executive leadership to help drive overall product and partnership strategy for Google Health. We then identify and negotiate partnerships that power the next generation of Google’s Health consumer and enterprise products as well as Google Health AI research projects that enable digital transformation in the Health space. We work closely with product management, engineering, research, deployment, legal and other BD teams to deliver on business objectives. We partner across the health value chain, from health systems, healthcare providers and insurers, to research institutions, foundations, universities, government agencies, device manufacturers, and more.
As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll help drive strategy and partnerships for early stage Google Health consumer products.

Manage partnerships globally across a complex consumer product portfolio and multiple partner segments.
Influence product and partner strategy and develop go-to-market and business model strategy with the goal of creating a strategically and financially impactful new business.
Lead and close complex and customized deals, create scalable partnership models, and maintain and grow direct relationships with key partners.
Coordinate with BD stakeholders across Google’s Product Areas to identify, develop and close partnerships.
