Description of Duties/Essential Functions
NOTE: This position is a contractual position.

For a 12-month period, will perform investigatory functions at Ludeman Developmental Center. Investigations will be limited to allegations of abuse, neglect and financial exploitation of individuals reside at Ludeman. Investigative duties include, preparation of investigative plan; collection of raw data such as records, documents, statements, photographic and video evidence; schedule and conduct employee interviews, etc. The PSCs will then weigh and assess the evidence to determine if abuse, neglect or financial exploitation has occurred and will write a report summarizing the finding. The PSCs will operate under the direction of the Metro Bureau and will be headquartered at Ludeman.

Minimum Requirements
Requires a High Scholl Diploma or GED combines with investigative skills training. Requires at least 10 years conducting investigations in a law enforcement and/or administrative capacity. Must be proficient in collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, analyzing data, writing investigative reports. The successful candidate must also possess excellent grammar and spelling skills and be able to use word processing software and peripherals as well as general office equipment such as computers, printers, cell phones, cameras and scanners. Must have good communications skills and be able to utilize email. Testimony is required.
