Administrative Support Assistant III, Veteran Student Services
The Administrative Support Assistant III serves as the first person of contact in Veteran Student Services (VSS) to current and prospective students, faculty, staff, administrators, and other visitors. This position assists with front desk support and customer service by providing information and assistance with administrative services for veteran and military-affiliated students. This position is also responsible for assisting VSS staff with records and data management, office up-keep, processing of invoices and procurement card transactions, budget reconciliation, travel, and payroll time entry.
provides front-line service and support to students, faculty, staff, administrators, and other visitors in a proficient and productive manner; provides general office support including, but not limited to, answering phones, greeting visitors, managing office staff email, maintaining office orderliness and confidentiality, and distributing, filing, faxing, and copying standards documents; assists with preparing student documents; processes invoices and procurement card transactions, reconciles budget; submits travel requests for VSS staff and student trips; assists with VSS programs and events, campus and community events; and other duties as assigned.

Have outstanding verbal and interpersonal skills, especially those relating to conflict resolution
Be comfortable with computer software application and have above average organizational skills
Must be able to quickly assimilate and apply new information

High School Diploma or GED; three to five years work experience in an office setting; and office filing experience.
Extensive clerical experience in an office setting; and higher education work experience.
