The Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Analyst will oversee data collection, manage diverse databases, and monitor the quality of information in these databases. This person will be responsible for the conversion of data to an appropriate file format for statistical analysis and periodic production of reports for the program, the Departments and Divisions, and other related and appropriate personnel. Will be able to interface with other databases (e.g., including Information Systems, Departmental/Divisional, and other related and appropriate databases), regarding QAPI data.
Need to work with Manager of Scheduling to conduct performance improvement and improve quality of scheduling data, bookings and scheduling appointments. Systems include OR Manager, Allscripts, Crown. Prepare patient data, such as surgical consents. Meet with Department Administrators on a monthly basis to see where discrepancies are, why cases are cancelled and provide feedback to surgeons to improve. Prepare reports in excel.
Bachelor's degree required.
One to three years of related experience required.
