Due to continued growth and an ongoing commitment to meet our patients’ needs, we are excited to announce the expansion of our Clements University Hospital, which is scheduled to be completed

September 2020.

  • Bed size will increase from 460 to 751
  • Total of 59 ORs
  • Operating rooms increasing in size from to 858 sq. ft. to 1,265 sq. ft.
  • The ER will increase 40% in patient capacity

The new 12-story tower will serve as the clinical home for the Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute, consolidate acute inpatient care services currently provided at Zale Lipshy University Hospital, and add operating rooms, interventional suites, a newly expanded Emergency Department, and two new parking facilities. The project will enhance both the quality of care and the efficiency of delivery, while maintaining our patient-centric focus to deliver the very best experience.

Successful candidates will have one year of acute care RN experience. Specialty areas may have increased experience requirements, as dictated by unit or standard of care. Current Texas (or BNE Compact State) license required; BSN preferred. Professional certification in a nursing organization is also preferred.
