Facility Manager Job Description
The Facility Manager will oversee the overall operations of the service department and fleet operations at the Appleton location. You will actively participate in achieving productivity objectives and the preparation of Avis and Budget vehicles according to company quality standards. The Facility Manager will direct, motivate and develop our Service Agent personnel who are responsible for producing exceptionally clean, quality vehicles. The Facility Manager will oversee the fleet operations as we in fleet and sell fleet from our Appleton location. The person in this position will be responsible for hiring, training, evaluating and scheduling of Service Agent personnel.
Facility Manager Specific Job Duties
Hire, supervise, develop, motivate and evaluate the performance of staff and supervisors.
Successfully establish, update, monitor and communicate objectives to the team.
Manage and monitor productivity of all personnel and location objectives
Ensure supervisors and staff are properly trained, motivated and coached for proper development and growth opportunities.
Monitor staffing schedules to compliment the business demands and needs.
Support of Midwestern Wheel’s Quality Assurance program to ensure vehicle quality is at a consistently high level.
Implement HR policies in the area of accountability, motivation and performance in a consistent and fair manner.

Facility Manager Required Qualifications
Associates degree or 3 years management experience overseeing staff
Ability to effectively manage processes and people accomplishing many things at the same time
Strong communication skills with proven cooperation with peers
Lead effective change with results
Experience with day to day support of operations through assuring a smoothly functioning, efficient process
Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
Experience building a team with the ability to create a work environment that supports retention of staff and customer service delivery
Exceptional leadership skills. Proven ability to train, motivate, influence and coach others.
Strong organizational, delegation and time management skills. Ability to meet deadlines, hold teams accountable and follow up on all activities within area.
Ability to demonstrate the Five Factors of Credibility: Competence, Character, Composure, Courage and Care for People
Must have a valid state driver’s license and no more than 2 moving violations in the current 12 month period
No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years
