The APTIM Houston team is seeking an ambitious Project Manager who will embrace the technical and operational challenges of managing and executing projects to the highest technical and data integrity standards as set forth by APTIM and state regulatory agencies.
Has a complete understanding of the Contract and the "as-sold" scope of work and budget, and communicates them to the project team
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls the project in accordance with APTIM's established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements
Provides leadership, direction and coordination for all project team members
Establishes and monitors project safety and quality programs
Directs preparation of project plans and manages project scope, budget and schedule in accordance with the contract and the project's safety, quality, technical and financial goals
Through active risk management, protects the Company from unnecessary risks
Ensures that the project meets or exceeds financial and cash management goals
Ensures that potential project scope, schedule or budget changes are immediately identified and addressed
Supervises daily activities of project personnel including technical and administrative support, and ensures that deliverables are produced on schedule and within budget
Represents the project and the company to clients and maintains client relationships
Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering/science, geology or related field required
Professional registration (PE or PG) required
Must have a minimum of 8+ years of project management experience managing complex projects (Superfund, CERCLA, RCRA etc.) managed as per EPA or TCEQ regulations.
Preferred experience managing
projects under TCEQ's TRRP guidelines
soil and groundwater remediation projects including managing subcontractor and field teams
PST/UST related projects
projects for State, Local and Municipal clients
several projects simultaneously
