Job Summary:
The Social Media Content Manager will create, monitor and maintain all social media platforms. This role is responsible for strategizing, planning and developing social channels, SEO and executing social business objectives across digital consumer touchpoints. The Social Media Content Manager must demonstrate passion and commitment to all aspects of digital marketing, as well as explore current experiences and identify new discoveries to lead a premium digital consumer experience that is on-brand and aligns to the content mission, and is consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and create content for social campaigns, approve social postings, and digital marketing materials including organic social marketing efforts.
Manage social media platforms and customer experience including curating and scheduling organic social postings, reviewing customer engagement/monitoring, graphic appearance, and brand content.
Manage the Yext platform as well as track, report and analyze locations and reviews data.
Approve social content and manage creative asset library to engage and garner new fans.
Create and maintain digital marketing calendar for social content, and social campaigns throughout different promotional periods.
Responsible for proofing and testing digital posts and campaigns for accuracy, quality, and brand consistency across layout, design and messaging.
Work with our agency on paid social posts to monitor, analyze and optimize campaigns for digital performance metrics including click through rates, conversion and retention, and continually work to identify opportunities to improve engagement and support overall digital strategy for retail stores and ecommerce.
Track, report and analyze digital engagement against business goals, objectives and key performance indicators to identify trends and insights for recommendations to determine proper segmentation, messaging and frequency strategy.
Remain current on digital marketing and direct-to-consumer efforts for new releases, trends, best practices, and algorithm changes across social, search and competitors.
Coordinate and lead digital communications to ensure all stakeholders stay up-to-date on the latest projects and promotional calendar plans.
Assist in execution of added-value elements for promotions, and partners with agency to provide fulfillment support (radio GC giveaways, product drop-offs, etc.).
Ongoing research and reviews of competitors in the industry; identifying successful tactics and providing recommendations to the marketing team.
Manage social influencer campaigns and approve social content.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree preferred.
2+ years of related industry experience (creative agency, digital marketing or consulting).
2+ years successfully creating digital content for social media and other platforms.
Personal passion and participation on social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.).
Proven design experience for social media and all digital platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, social media in-app tools (channels, publishing and social listening like Social Report), and creative apps (LightRoom, KiraKira, Unfold, Planoly, etc.).
Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humor.
