We are currently seeking a highly qualified nurse to join our growing healthcare team. In this position, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and tend to their needs. You should be highly committed to best practices, knowledgeable of compliance requirements, and able to perform well within a team environment.
In our clinic setting, you will work an 8 hour day shift with no nights or weekends! We are family oriented and you aren't just an employee number, you're family.
The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best pediatric nursing care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will also be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. Procedures and documentation will be handled in a timely manner.
Nurse Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and perform necessary routine diagnostic checks (e.g. monitor pulse, blood pressure, oxygen, temperature, provide medications and injections, etc.)
- Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
- Accurately monitor and record data regarding patients’ conditions; timely document all provided care services
- Function well during stressful situations
- Delegate and administer workloads as needed by the team
- Follow all care regulations and standards
- Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best patient care possible
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
- Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing exam rooms etc.)
- Provide instant medical care in emergencies
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
- Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
Nurse Requirements and Qualifications
- Active Nursing license in Mississippi
- Active CPR license
- Significant experience working as a nurse in a professional setting, pediatric settings preferred
- Evidence of continued learning to maintain proficiency of professional and technical emerging knowledge
- Exceptional problem solving, prioritizing, and multitasking skills
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
