Little, nationally recognized as a “Best Places to Work” and one of the nation’s most progressive design firms, is seeking an IWMS Applications Specialist with a dual interest for technology and analytics and a positive, collaborative work style, for our FM Strategies Studio. This person would be located in our Washington, DC office.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player, quick learner with excellent communication skills and with the utmost regard for a quality work product. Responsibilities include client interaction, project drawing and database tasks and providing support to the team’s Senior Application Specialists with AutoCAD, Excel and IWMS software applications. Work includes polylining floor-plan CAD drawings, configuring IWMS databases and producing reports.
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
A degree in architectural technology, drafting or equivalent experience required;
Strong AutoCAD and/or Revit knowledge and experience in the Architectural or FM field;
Working knowledge of FM:Systems FM:Interact application required. Understanding of iOffice, Serraview or similar IWMS software a plus;
Space planning and basic design capabilities a plus;
Understanding the FM environment and Space Management processes;
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written;
Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and basic computer technology;
SQL and SSRS knowledge a plus;
Knowledge of BOMA/IFMA Measurement Area Guidelines;
Knowledge of Facilities Planning and Industry practices; and
Self-learning capability of new software.
