As a Administrative Assistant, you will:
Coordinates the administration of projects within the specified department.
Prepares correspondence and presentation materials using word processing and other applicable software.
Answers the telephone, responds to inquiries and takes messages/refers caller.
Distributes mail, schedules appointments/meetings and makes travel arrangements.
Coordinates timeframes, production and administration projects within specified departments.
Answers telephone calls for department staff. Responds to inquiries and provides information according to department procedure and directs the caller to another party as appropriate.
Reviews/prepares/composes correspondence/memorandums for the department management and staff.
Schedules appointments and meetings with department/company management/staff and customers as directed. Obtains information and arranges for/books air/ground transportation, lodging, etc., for business trips.
Opens, sorts, prioritizes and distributes incoming mail. Ensures that outgoing mail is properly addressed/packaged and arranges for deliveries to the mailroom.
Maintains/updates project records and department files.
Abides by and demonstrates the company Mission – Vision – Values through both behavior and job performance on a day-to-day basis.
High School diploma or the equivalent plus a minimum of five years administrative and word processing experience in an applicable corporate environment generally required.
Excellent oral/written communication skills required.
Strong knowledge of microcomputer software also required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary responsibility satisfactorily.
