## Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will oversee the nursing staff in the labor and delivery unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
## Duties
- Manage and supervise nursing staff in the labor and delivery unit
- Coordinate patient care activities and ensure adherence to protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide necessary interventions
- Assist with procedures such as tube feeding, catheterization, and sterile processing
- Provide senior care to patients in labor and during delivery
- Administer medications, including those for alimentation and dialysis
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including DRG coding
## Skills
- Proficient in monitoring vital signs during labor and delivery
- Experience in occupational health practices within a hospital setting
- Knowledge of tube feeding procedures and catheterization techniques
- Familiarity with senior care practices in a healthcare environment
- Competent in sterile processing methods for medical equipment
- Ability to administer medications for alimentation and dialysis
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team of nurses effectively
