What You’ll Get to Do:
The CACI Strategic Content (SC) Lead directs a group of proposal writers of various specialties and seniority to develop, maintain and refine proposal content. The team consists of volume leads and writers and collaborates with sector, functional and program Subject Matter Experts and Solution Architects, the Business Development Knowledge Management team, and the CACI Marketing and Communications team. The team develops material including Executive Summaries, Management Plans, Technical Approaches, Staffing Plans and Rationale, Transition Plans, Risk Management Plans, Safety Plans, Security Plans, and various other artifacts to support additional proposal or orals content.
The SC Lead works with the other Proposal Operations leaders to develop resource plans that map to sector priorities. The goal is to forecast requirements as much as possible and promote earlier content development activities to increase Pwin.
This leader must model great analytical and listening skills to be an inspirational leader who communicates effectively to motivate a team to be strong contributors. Strong attention to detail and accuracy of information are key, including ability to set priorities and organize large amounts of data for analysis and use in consultation with numerous stakeholders. The primary skills required include:
Significant ability to analyze customer care abouts and requirements to map CACI strengths to best-scorable content, and to analyze customer debriefs post-award.
Understanding of the nuances of proposal evaluation criteria and how to design a response team to line up to the requirements.
Able to lead and resource a team of writers, of various seniority and specializations, to conceptualize, draft, and finalize written and visual content in response to customer requirements, across multiple active pursuits.
Capable of successfully mentoring less experienced individuals.
Able to collaborate with BD, Capture, and Proposal team to architect winning proposals.
Partner with sectors and stakeholders to promote model BD Lifecycle processes and wins.
Work closely with other Proposal Operations leaders and the BD Knowledge Management team to address content creation, refresh, and usage stats, and delivery methodologies.
Capable of conducting careful, strategic peer and color team reviews and post award analysis to increase the Pwin and motivate the team.

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism or comparable degree
Minimum of 12 years of related strategic proposal and management experience
Significant experience in Bid/Proposal development process for strategic pursuits (>$75 million)
Significant proposal writing experience with ability to prioritize competing tasks
Excellent communication skills (i.e., written, verbal, and presentation)
Strong analytic and research skills
Ability to lead multi-talented teams in disparate locations
Ability to coordinate and build relationships with all parts and levels of the organization
Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills
