What We Are Looking For
National Education Partners (NEP) is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team as an HR Business Partner (HRBP).
The HRBP develops strategies that align with organizational objectives and culture by working with executive and mid-level leaders and the general employee population. This position serves as a change agent with a focus on workplace trends and analytics while anticipating HR needs both for local employees and remote workers. The HRBP will consult with leaders in efforts to increase team effectiveness, enhance relationships among leaders and staff and address employee relations concerns.
This is a unique opportunity to provide strategic HR support internally and as an HR services provider to a third party. This role is positioned within a highly functioning HR team with a focus on relationships, culture, talent development, data interpretation, goals, and initiatives
Executes all duties and functions of an HRBP within the HR team and assigned client group which includes management of employee relations, support of client group initiatives (talent development, succession strategies), consult with leaders and employees, and obtain desired outcomes and agreed upon objectives .
Ensures the successful implementation of HR programs and strategies which includes the creation and execution of HR initiatives.
Formulate and implement employee relations and communication programs to ensure high employee morale, performance and retention.
Maintains an in-depth understanding of workplace trends within the groups, the thematic employee related challenges experienced across the organization and opportunities for organizational improvement. Synthesizes, analyzes and reports the information to HR and unit leadership.
Partner with the Learning & Development/Organizational Development teams to create and deliver management training in areas including interviewing, performance management, discipline and policies and procedures.
Collaborates with HR team and assigned business unit(s).
Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of organizational development, change management, employee relations, employee development and business management concepts.
Demonstrated success in building relationships with client group leaders to ensure a strong partnership, trust, and aligned vision of success.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and ability to present to a group of leaders and employees.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task between tactical processes and execution of strategic initiatives.
Aptitude for analyzing and interpret data.
Ability to work extended hours to include evening and weekends.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and other applications in the Microsoft Office suite.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in HR or business related field; Master’s preferred
5+ years HR related experience with 2-5 years’ experience in a strategic HR role
PHR/SPHR strongly preferred
Experience as an HR services provider to 3rd party organizations
Experience providing service to a remote workforce
Experience in higher education preferred
Experience working in a technology-driven enterprise preferred
