We're a busy service provider and we service, repair and replace or upgrade a variety of residential and commercial HVAC and boiler/hot water heat systems throughout the Denver metro and Foothills areas.
BASIC FUNCTION AND PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
An HVAC Apprentice Installation Technician s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Accepting work assignments and leadership of lead installers.
If not already Nate and EPA certified, must be willing to work towards these certifications.
Assist with the installation or replacement of various HVAC comfort, ducting and piping systems.
Installations and modifications that meet or exceed current codes.
Communicating with customers, Sales Staff, General Contractor and/or owners to ensure that jobs and tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner and to the customer s satisfaction.
Apprentices are required to understand and abide by all company policies.
Apprentices must take a proactive stance on Safety and report any concerns or violations immediately to the GM.
Ensures that instructions and information are related in a constructive and diplomatic manner and that all safety information, warnings and signs are understood and communicated to reporting personnel.
Minimum qualifications include, and are not limited to, the following:
Must be experienced in the installation and modification of forced air systems, gas, flue and refrigerant piping, etc and keep these skills and certifications up to date. Boiler and plumbing piping experience would be a plus.
High School diploma or GED certificate or evidence of equivalent experience in a related business.
May substitute relevant experience on a year-to-year basis for educational requirements.
Must have strong writing and reading comprehension along with the ability to fill out time cards, change orders, etc.
Must be trainable on technical subjects related to HVAC and Plumbing systems.
Must be fully competent in use of the English language in spoken and written form.
Must have a clear driving record and valid Colo license.
Must own the basic selection of hand tools, with most detectors, reclaimers and power tools being provided by the company. Tool purchase assistance is available.
