About the role
Serves as the Desktop Support Technician to provide Level I and II assistance to end users of company provided information technology resources and equipment. Coordinates basic user technical training and remediation activities. Conducts needs assessment, evaluates assistance currently being offered and develops approaches to enhance company capabilities for user support.
What you'll be doing
Handles Level I and Level II Office application and desktop activities and mobile device issues.
Handles network issues including connectivity and Wi-Fi connectivity
Acknowledge and support all IT ADMIN intakes via email and phone
Confers with users and IT personnel to develop new approaches or alternatives to ensure that user assistance is being provided effectively and efficiently
Maintains, records, logs and reports of assistance in Service Desk
Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical personnel
Proficient at identifying and resolving computer system malfunctions and operations problems.
Regularly uses hands to manipulate phones, computer keyboard and similar tools. Ability to view computer screens, mobile devices, and other electronic equipment, for extended periods of time. Sit and stand to perform administrative work. Regularly lift and move office supplies up to 30 lbs.
Who we're looking for
Office 365 experience including but not limited to Office products, OneDrive, Teams, and Yammer.
Lansweeper, SCCM experience knowledge preferred.
Working knowledge of smart phones (e.g. iPhone / iPad) email configurations including knowledge of MobileIron MDM a plus.
Knowledge of Cisco Meraki routers a plus.
Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline preferred and a minimum of two years working in a technical operating capacity or a minimum of four years work experience focusing on desktop support in a networked environment.
Must possess excellent customer service, verbal and written skills.
IT and Microsoft certifications a plus.
Some travel maybe required.
