About Your Work
The Director, Strategy and Market Development is responsible for shaping and executing the company’s strategic initiatives and growth plans for its Altais Health Solutions business segment. The leader of Strategy and Market Development plays a critical role in guiding enterprise’s strategic direction and vision of its professional managed service organization service offerings, identifying expansion opportunities and establishing market strategy, and ensuring the organization’s long-term success. This position involves cross-functional teams, conducting market research, analyzing data, and developing capabilities and marketing campaigns to drive business growth and drive expansion across markets, while also maintaining key strategic relationships and industry presence to support business growth.
You will focus on:

Provide guidance on enterprise strategy, assess and anticipate market needs, and timing of market entry.

Create actionable strategic plans, including market entry strategies, growth initiativess, and competitive positioning.

Market Research and Analysis:
-
Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.

Analyze competitive landscapes and market dynamics to make data-driven recommendations for pricing and/or bundling of products and services across Altais business segments

Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and M&A targets while representing Altais Health Solutions nationwide

Develop business cases and financial models to support investment decisions and manage profitability of the AVP’s portfolio of clients and services

Develop and implement market expansion strategies, including geographic expansion and new product/service launches.

Work with sales and marketing teams to execute go-to-market strategies.

Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of strategic initiatives.

Regularly track and report progress toward strategic goals.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
-
Collaborate with various departments, including finance, marketing, operations, and sales, to align strategies and drive execution.

Partner with internal and external pricing and actuarial support teams to guide national rate setting and precision pricing capabilities.

Lead and mentor a team of strategy professionals, providing guidance and support.

Provide guidance to Business Development and Growth team and work through any existing interdependencies.
8. Risk Assessment:

Identify potential risks associated with strategic initiatives and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Coordinate with compliance and legal counterparts as appropriate to manage related threats within the company’s acceptable ranges.
The Skills, Experience & Education You Bring

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in strategic planning, market development, and business analysis.

Proven track record of successfully executing strategic initiatives and driving business growth in healthcare operations

Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performing teams.

Industry-specific knowledge and expertise is required.

Physical Requirements: Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork – Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of workday.
