DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the functional process of approximately 60 washers, 72 dryers, a triple washer and a triple dryer at either of the two Cadet Laundromat operations.
Provides informal training and hands-on instruction to the Cadets for the Falcon Card and the point of sale laundromat controllers.
Provides technical assistance to users of the Cash-to-Card machines and laundry machine controllers.
Uses established processes to isolate problems on laundry controllers. Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the Cash-to-Card and laundry controllers and point of sales terminals.
Performs minor maintenance on washers, dryers, change machines, and coin counters. Identifies overloaded machines and remedies the problem.
Provides advice to the cadets on proper use of all equipment in the facility.
Accountable for cash that is loaded onto the in-house service cards used for the drop off service.
Assists cadets with the personal identification number (PIN) issues associated with the Falcon Card usage.
Assists the Manager with the bimonthly harvest of coins from all machines at both laundromat facilities. Assists with the monthly inventory.
Performs daily cashier functions in the sale of laundry supplies, snacks, and laundry services.
Receives money, issues receipts, makes change and completes related cash control forms at the end of each shift.
Maintains a change fund. Resolves minor customer complaints and makes adjustments accordingly.
Washes, dries and folds laundry for drop off service.
Maintains required sanitation and cleanliness of the facilities. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience in clerical or retail sales work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of this position.
In addition, demonstration of the ability to communicate with other effectively and a clear speaking voice is desirable.
Position is subject to furlough when required by financial constraints.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical is required.
Requires a Local Files Check (LFC) and Tier 1 investigation.
