Perspecta’s Civilian, State and Local segment partners with the U.S. Federal Civilian State and Local governments to provide infrastructure services, business solutions, and digital transformation services that help them achieve policy objectives and integrate citizen-centric services.

Provides services in support of NAS systems rather than business oriented IT systems. There are NAS support systems that are administrative in nature that have an active interface to the NAS that may require some of these skills to maintain and engineer the interface. The series is also intended to provide engineering service in support of Air Transportation Support activities for operational locations including facility maintenance, modification and remediation as well as various levels of equipment repair. R&D support service resources may be specified from this labor category series.

  • Support for the acquisition, deployment, implementation, and maintenance of Very High Frequency/Frequency Modulation (VHF/FM) radios, High Frequency/Single Sideband (HF/SSB) Radio System, and a Digital Microwave Communications Network, COMSEC, SATCOM, Information Technology, and Contingency Facilities.
  • Engineering and Planning Support: analyze technical requirements to support solution development. In addition, the Contractor must attend Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMS), prepare engineering diagrams, drawings, to include OSI Layer I and III drawings, data flow diagrams, conduct propagation studies, red-line drawings, disposition plans white papers, and coordinate technical issues with the FAA. The Contractor must prepare detailed timelines and schedules for assigned tasks, oversee and provide quality assurance for work performed by third party contractors.
  • Related support areas under this task include: Requirements Analysis Support; Site Surveys, Evaluations, and Preparation Support; Program and Technical Documentation Support; Installation Support; Communications Support Team (CST) Support; Testing Support; and Preventive Maintenance and Repairs Support
Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.

Clearance: TS/SCI w poly

Qualifications: Engineering, math, and science degrees are required.

When supporting tasks that are Air Traffic Operations, Air Traffic Safety System, Air Traffic Management, Air Traffic Operations Training, Air Traffic Safety System Training, or Air Traffic Management Training, for the Senior and Senior with Special Certification Levels, any
combination of degree, certification and relevant experience will be considered if the relevant experience requirement is satisfied.
