Overview:
Indigo Industries specializes in non-traditional engineering processes to accelerate the development and fielding of innovative defense technologies. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Specialist to join our team. This role will support our efforts by managing critical documentation related to technology assessments, prototypes, and testing reports, ensuring compliance with industry and DoD standards.
Duties:
Document Management:
- Create, maintain, and organize technical documents, including assessment reports, after-action reports, test plans, and transition packets.
- Ensure all documents adhere to DoD documentation standards and formats.
- Manage version control and maintain a comprehensive archive of all project-related documentation.
- Implement and maintain records management systems, ensuring all records are properly filed and easily accessible.
- Develop and maintain SharePoint sites and collaborate with team members to ensure all documentation is up-to-date and readily available.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Proven experience in document management and administrative roles.
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and experience with records management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or communications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
