Senior Claims Representative

Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with escalated claims to resolve complex issues for team members and internal customers
Support implementation of updates to the current procedures and assist with new system training / mentoring
Review guidelines as well as benefit plan documents and certificates to ensure proper benefits have been applied to each claim
Analyze and identify trends and provides reports as necessary
Key and process Domestic and International claims and obtain and sustain performance level

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent years of work experience
3+ year of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools
1+ year experience processing medical, dental, prescription or mental health claims
Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
3+ years’ experience with UNET
Able to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:00am - 5:30pm EST
Dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas
Work area in a section of the residence that provides information privacy
Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
Reside in a location that can receive a high-speed internet connection (additional information on UnitedHealth Group approved internet providers and restrictions will be provided)
