The Position:

This is an exciting, interactive role perfect for an outgoing and personable individual looking to get their feet wet in a marketing position. As our Customer Engagement Marketing Coordinator you will be on the ground as the face of Everywhere Wireless’ customer engagement. You will meet with property managers, leasing staff, and direct customers of our many properties throughout Chicago to encourage continued business with Everywhere Wireless.

No cold calling or heavy sales needed; just present your confident and vivacious ‘you’. Enjoy wine and cheese with a condominium board, or chat over cookies and coffee with a property manager while you interact person-to-person with people already on the EW train. Encourage speed increases (you get a bonus for each one!) and show off the 5-star quality service that sets EW apart from the competition.

On occasion, you may also be tasked with organizing and working events. At these events, you will distribute literature, flyers, and various coupon-style marketing materials while you are stationed in property lobbies. You will also be responsible for the safe and proper set-up and breakdown at the start and end of the event.

Your duties will include:

  • Visit a set number of properties in a given area, changing on a weekly or monthly basis.
  • Speak with the property manager or a member of the condominium association about how they feel EW service is working for them, answer any simple questions they may have, and remind them of upgrades and direct them to our support team.
  • Deliver fun gifts like wine and cheese, cookies, and plush miniatures of our adorable mascot, Spotty.
  • Perform door drops of how-to cards, support contact information, and discount codes for new subscribers. Each new subscriber that uses those codes means a $25 bonus for you.
  • Build and maintain relationships with various customers to increase Internet sales.
  • Attend marketing events; manage the set-up, layout, and breakdown of the marketing table and advertising paraphernalia.
  • Create and prepare customer communication materials in conjunction with the marketing team.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with customer interaction
  • Very strong people skills
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently; Self-starter
  • Technologically savvy, resourceful, creative, analytical and business-minded
  • Strong interpersonal skills in establishing successful working relationships both internally and externally
  • Proven ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of management
  • Actively participate on special project teams, as needed.
  • A reliable vehicle is preferred

Compensation:

$15 - $20/hour + $25 subscription bonuses for new customer subscribers.
(That’s equivalent to up to $20+/hour!)
