Job Summary:
McCauleys Truck Center is seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating truck repairs and maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance services
- Schedule appointments and coordinate service timelines
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions and service history
-Assist Penske customers with a smooth checkout process
-Clean and prep Penske trucks (interior,exterior)
-Fuel and park Penske Trucks in parking lot
*Penske is open for business on Saturday from 8am-12pm you will be required to work some Saturdays*
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive/truck service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of heavy truck repairs, oil changes, brake jobs, etc
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic mechanical knowledge is required
