MedStar Health is hiring Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographers at the following locations:
Washington Hospital Center: 110 Irving Street NW Washington, DC 20010
Georgetown University Hospital: 3800 Reservoir Road NW, Washington, DC 20007
Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographers perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including 2D echo, Doppler, stress, dobutamine, and other echocardiographic tests. They also prepare preliminary test measurements and facilitates understanding of sonographic examinations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent training is required.
- Experience is preferred, but not required.
Certifications Required:
- Registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- OR
- Registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (ARDCS)
- OR
- Cardiology Credentialing Institute/National Board of Cardiovascular Technologists (CCI/NBCVT)
