Carpenter Foreman
Job Description:
The Carpenter Foreman performs carpentry duties at the job site, and assists the Superintendent and Project Manager in directing and coordinating current work staff. The Carpenter Foreman must contribute to ensuring that the project is completed in accordance with the objectives for cost, time, and quality. Must have leadership skills and the ability to monitor, train, and evaluate the performance of the current staff.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities to perform the Job:
- Minimum of 5-7 years commercial construction experience as a Carpenter, Foreman or similar title.
- Work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Perform work with a high level of quality, resulting in no re-work
- Follow instructions of Project Superintendent or Construction Site Manager
- Work with other team members and notify Project Superintendent of any non-conforming work.
- Communicate effectively with current staff
- Effectively communicate using verbal and digital means.
- Complete project documentation.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED at hire.
