Landmark Recovery is a substance abuse treatment provider operating both inpatient and outpatient level of care. We will be opening a facility in Carmel, Indiana to provide both residential and outpatient services. The Director of Outpatient Services will oversee all outpatient services including Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Psychiatric services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees overall operations of the facility including achieving and/or maintaining a profitable operation through income and expense goals that have been established by the Corporate Office
  • Directly supervises the facility team both administrative and clinical
  • Consistently develops new and maintain existing referral partner relationships
  • Responsible for building and maintaining census goals
  • Supports the Marketing effort and takes personal responsibility for the facility’s occupancy goals
  • Plans and organizes adequate staffing to meet patient needs
  • For each Addiction Counselor without independent licensure, reviews and approves all progress notes and meets with the employee for one hour per week, documenting the date, length and content of the session
  • Oversees discharge planning & manages facility relationships with aftercare providers to ensure each patient is set up for continued success in his or her recovery journey
  • Completes performance reviews and disciplinary action as needed for the facility team
  • Follows, implements, and supports facility’s policies and procedures; educates staff and patients about policies and procedures as necessary
  • Implements, reviews, and regularly improves Clinical Treatment Protocol to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices
  • Develops, implements, and maintains strategy for ensuring compliance with all aspects of relevant facility regulations, including state regulations and the Joint Commission
  • Participates in weekly Treatment Team meetings to evaluate progress of all patients and make recommendations for adjustments to Treatment Plan
  • Serves as “Manager On Call” periodically as assigned by Administrator
  • Performs other administrative and supervisory duties to ensure efficient and profitable operation
  • Performs all tasks in accordance with state regulations
  • Provide 24 hour/7 days/week on call coverage for all urgent patient needs. May assign on call responsibilities as needed.
  • In absence of other roles, performs job responsibilities assigned to those roles personally or through delegation to other staff members
  • Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active Indiana LCSW, LMFT, LCAC, or equivalent license; all approved supervisor capabilities by appropriate state agency
  • Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or equivalent field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a clinical role within Chemical Dependency field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Chemical Dependency field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Chemical Dependency Outpatient Services
  • Must be committed to drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use
  • Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred
