The Los Angeles Stadium and Entertainment District at Hollywood Park (LASED) will be a year-round sports and entertainment destination located just four miles from Los Angeles International Airport. The project covers 298 acres of office, retail, and residential space with the centerpiece of the district being a 70,000-seat stadium that will be the home of NFL games for both the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers. LASED will also play host to the 2022 Super Bowl, the 2023 College Football National Championship, and the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the 2028 Olympics, as well as major concerts and other entertainment year-round.

SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Managing Director; the Vice President of Ticket Operations is the senior leader within the Ticket Operations team, and is responsible for managing and overseeing the ticket operations of LASED ticketed events at the 70,000-seat stadium, 6,000-seat performance venue, and various additional events on the LASED campus. The chosen individual will have an opportunity to develop the ticket operations department for LASED and will work closely with the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, Legends as well as other partners through the opening in 2020 and beyond. LASED has a Fan First mentality, as such this person will ensure an exceptional experience and safe environment for all LASED visitors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee the recruiting, hiring, staffing, and training of the ticket operations team
  • Implementation of ticket platform into a multi-venue campus
  • Serve as primary liaison between Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, and Legends ticket sales and service departments, other affiliate clubs or tenants, internal departments, and external promoters and vendors
  • Oversee all financial control policies and procedures related to ticket office
  • Oversee setup and management of all ticket manifests and events
  • Keep abreast of latest ticketing resources, trends, and technologies
  • Develop and maintain all operational policies and procedures
  • Oversee all event creation, inventory control, reporting, and database management on behalf of department
  • Oversee all communication regarding premium ticketing including invoicing, informational emails, and all other communication
  • Oversee creation and deployment of all internal and financial reporting
  • Develop and manage annual departmental operating budget
  • Monitor ticket inventory and sales trends in partnership with sales and analytics staff to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Ensure proper audit controls, close-out, and reconciliation processes are in place for all members of ticketing staff
  • Develop and maintain procedures for ticket office and implement strategies to reflect most effective ways of providing excellent customer service
  • Facilitate distribution and delivery of all tickets
  • Represent organization at professional development conferences and external meetings
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, sports management or relevant equivalent experience of minimum 7-10 years ticket operations, preferably within professional sports or entertainment environment
  • Thorough knowledge and proficiency of various ticketing systems required
  • Proven strategic thinker able to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent and timely follow-through
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and occasional holidays
