## Job Overview
We are seeking a Retail Area Supervisor to join our team at Ross. The ideal candidate will assist in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth store functioning, and maintain Brand Standards and cleanliness.
## Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets
- Train and onboard new employees on store policies and procedures
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Assist in merchandising and maintaining store appearance
## Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in a discount retail environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Assist cashiers and problem solve in fast paced front end
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
- Ability to adapt learn and train and validate new associates on process
