The Financial Analyst is responsible for playing a key role in supporting the profitable growth of the Greetings business focused on various business initiatives. The incumbent will be expected to provide high quality financial analysis and support through a variety of projects.

The Finance team directly supports with decision support/financial analysis for product/program profitability, administrative budgets, and various types of retailer requests. The incumbent will work directly with all members of the assigned Hallmark Greetings team including those in the Sales and Category teams and should expect a fast paced and complex environment where they are expected to contribute as a member of the broader team on all financial aspects of the business.

Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst include:
Ensuring that a financial analysis is being conducted for all major programs, and that the impact of those analyses is communicated to the team and management.
Analyzing monthly financial results and reporting on key variances.
Building and maintaining Short-Term and Long-Term financial models for planning and forecasting
Leading the development of plan and forecasts for revenue and terms by partnering with Product Finance.
Always seeking for continuous improvement in the role (find ways to do things better, faster, cheaper).

Bachelor Degree
Professional experience in a finance or accounting role


Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred
3+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of gift presentation production
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence partners
Knowledge of and ability to navigate SAP and Essbase
Strong Excel and Word skills
Ability to summarize detailed data into a readable format
