ITmPowered Consulting is hiring highly-motivated individuals with sales / business development experience, preferably in technology consulting services, staffing or software sales to generate new business and deepen relationships with current and prospective clients. This position is an internal, full time role at ITmPowered Consulting.
This role requires building and growing relationships with key decision-makers throughout all levels of ITmPowered’s current and prospective enterprise clients, identifying opportunities and properly positioning ITmPowered’s technology consultants and professional services offerings. You will need a strong customer service perspective and demonstrate a clear understanding of both technology and strategic account management. In addition, you will be responsible for communicating client requirements to internal stakeholder teams who are responsible for talent acquisition, service delivery, project management and internal resourcing. You will need to collaborate with those teams to evaluate consultant fit per our clients’ requirements as well as ITmPowered’s internal requirements and, where necessary, provide feedback.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Generate revenue and profit from adding value in new business development and existing client growth.
Develop and adhere to a sales plan for targeting and penetrating new business.
Complete all aspects of the business development cycle including prospecting/cold calls, discovery, presentation, proposal creation, contract negotiation and relationship development
Be in front of the customer – you already have buyer relationships AND readily cold call into mid to large clients and successfully get meetings set.
Work closely with new and active clients to acquire and prioritize clients’ IT requirements
Differentiate yourself in the first sentence with clients by knowing the subject area and presenting differentiated positioning to all levels of client management
Demonstrate thorough understanding of ITmPowered T-RISC and AIDM Consulting practice areas, service offerings, methodologies, project work, and partnerships
Drive results through excellent client relationships at Director, VP, and C-Levels.
Add value during client meetings through up front preparation, research, and technical understanding – so you can ask the right questions in the right context and propose solutions.
Engage with client leadership when they have a technical problem – BEFORE a job order is created – a technical problem and work with them to design a solution to fit their needs (and a qualified job order our delivery team can deliver on)
Set and lead client meetings – intro, follow up, technical discovery, and scoping meetings, as well as SOW reviews, SOW finalization, and engagement kickoff meetings.
Qualify technical consulting opportunities – technical problem space, business drivers, current state, desired end state, major milestones, team assembly – roles, responsibilities. Budget.
Qualify technical job order requirements – technical requirements, functional requirements, roles, relationships, rates, budget, etc.
Provide detailed requirements/information to internal employees – Professional Services / Consulting teams on SOW’s and solution design. AND Recruiters on Delivery team assembly.
Walk technical clients through SOW solutions on fixed fee, time and materials engagements as well as technical consultant backgrounds, bio’s, and resumes.
Present qualified consultants to clients and adhere to ITmPowered’s processes and best practices for delivering to clients and managing consultants.
Utilize a CRM/ATS database in a professional, accurate, and timely manner
Minimum of 3-5 years of business to business sales, account management, business development in Technology consulting services OR IT Staffing sales.
1-3 years IT Staffing – can earn and qualify job orders across – SDLC, Agile/Scrum, IT, PMO, BA, Dev, QA, Build/CM, Network, DevOps, CI/CD, Cyber, etc.
Proven book of business – you have solid relationships with technology Directors, VP’s, and C-levels – and can deliver again building business at new client companies.
Proven history of maintaining 10-20+ Consultants on billing at 3-5 different mid to large client companies. You know how to build business and get asked back by client leadership.

The ideal candidate will have current expertise developing an IT solutions business coupled with exceptional relationship management skills
Preferred: Proven at developing business for delivery of advanced technical solutions, professional consulting services, and niche technology staffing – cloud, DevOps, Big Data, Data Science, Cyber Security, IT Compliance, etc. (You have competed with the Big 4 consulting and regional consulting firms)
Love researching client IT Organizations, identifying buyers of IT Consulting and staffing – then building great relationships with them and earning their business.
Must be able to identify key decision-makers within organizations, present a clear, concise case for partnering with ITmPowered and close business through superior customer service
Must be able to develop strong relationships with all levels of internal and external management and be comfortable negotiating terms of business in both fast-paced entrepreneurial and large-scale organizations
Strong analytical & negotiation experience. Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Understanding of the local business environment.
BA/BS in Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business, Management or related field.
