The DoD International AIMS Program Office (PO) oversees the standardization, certification, and interoperability aspects of the DoD and international AIMS efforts and provides guidance to the tAIMS programs. The DoD AIMS PO manages, implements, and controls changes to the Mark XIIA/B standards and minimum test procedures for DoD AIMS certifications. On the international level, the DoD AIMS PO promotes interoperability by promulgating U.S. standards to NATO nations and coalition partners. The DoD AIMS PO has the oversight responsibility to ensure testing and analysis is adequate to verify compliance with the U.S. standards for an AIMS PO certification decision.

The DoD International AIMS Program Office is seeking qualified Test Engineers to join their team. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, systems thinker that is able to work as part of a team and present the program/company in a positive way to the customer and during government interactions. Candidates must have ability to work on multiple simultaneous tasks.

The Test Engineer II is responsible for the testing and evaluation of Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) systems (interrogators, transponder, test set, crypto and other IFF equipment) at the laboratory bench level and platform integration level in support of the DoD International AIMS PO. This position reports directly to the Senior Test Engineer. Duties often require developing solutions to problems and adapting to higher level system specification.

Roles and Responsibilities: • In depth data analysis of IFF systems • Writing technical reports, summaries and whitepapers related to IFF topics • Collaboration with Government and Industries partners to develop solutions to IFF related system deficiencies • Participation in boxlevel and platform level test events on IFF related equipment integration • Managing all assigned technical projects to completion

Required Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering • 5-12 years of IFF and/or Radio Frequency (RF) experience

Preferred Qualifications: • Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

Travel: Travel is required to CONUS and OCONUS locations

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
