SUPERVISOR: Product Manager FLSA STATUS: Exempt

ROLE DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this position is to join a dynamic team that is focused on driving excellence within our growing functional agile software development team. As a critical member in this role you will be given exposure across global organizations, utilizing your passion for technology to drive your career forward.


Work closely with the Product Manager to obtain, clarify, record, gather requirements & timelines (this will include creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, mockups, process flows) and engage with stakeholders, customers, cross-functional departments up to and including C-executive suite.

Work intimately with end users, stakeholders and customers to understand pain points and drill down to the underlying ‘root cause’ of the issue being reported

Design functional specification and be able to facilitate feature demo to users and stakeholders within given 2 week timeline and determine release schedule tradeoff

Host presentations, webinars, and teleconference, meetings with stakeholders and end-users to identify business needs, and analyze the source of business/system problems

Work closely and answer any questions that the software developers & QA engineers may have regarding requirements and defined acceptance criteria and ensure they are well-understood and implemented.

Review pre-production/interim builds to ensure requirements have been implemented appropriately and make recommendations.

Take part in short daily team standups, sprint planning, and product grooming meetings designed to improve communication among the team and identify blockers.

Assisting in prioritization of tasks and planning iterations.

Resolving issues and business questions.


Exposure to (or understand of) the full software & product development lifecycle – from initial concept through requirements gathering, analysis, design, programming and testing, to deployment, training and user feedback

Strong verbal and written communication skills – requirements gathering, user story creation, elucidation, documentation, development planning meetings, workshop facilitation and presentations.

Excellent analytical & skills, thorough impact analysis and attention to detail.

Good negotiation skills – ability to manage problem-solving expectations and control scope.

Experience with interacting with internal and external stakeholders / end users include C-Suite

Willingness to learn and motivated to self-learn

Strong familiarity with MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Smart sheet

Manage product lifecycle and product roadmaps cross departments, stakeholders, end-users and customers

Highly motivated to succeed, passionate about continuous improvement, growth and change, flexible and adaptable in fast-paced environments

Self-starter who is driven and eager to take on more responsibility

Ability to distill complex information, unify it, and communicate it to different stakeholders in a concise and diplomatic way

Available off hours if required that the Product Manager needs clarification on features and/or releases.


2+ years of product management and 3PL Global Logistics

Experience in agile development methods, particularly Scrum

Familiar with Product Stage Gates Processes

Experience or exposure to JIRA our project management system

Ability to understand, construct and follow the product vision outlined in the product roadmap
