Job Description

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join our team in the position of Supervisor of Transportation, based in our Daytona Beach, FL office.

Responsible for supervising a team of Transportation Coordinators and providing day-to-day support for the fleet of Daytona based promotional vehicles. Operate motor vehicles and provide transportation services as needed.

Perform a variety of duties related to the company vehicles, including:

Oversee daily operations, set priorities, and manage scheduling of the Transportation Coordinator team.
Operate motor vehicles and provide transportation services as needed.
Provide logistical support for the promotional vehicle fleet, including the coordination of pick-up and drop off-of program vehicles at lease term expiration, and during driver assignment changes.
Facilitate short-term loaner usage of spare promotional vehicles.
Provide regular recurring courier service as required between office locations.
Collaborate with other managers and staff members to support the annual vehicle ordering process.
Work with vehicle manufacturers and dealers to ensure vehicle tags and registrations are current and assist the Risk department in annual renewal activity as needed.
Maintain accurate vehicle inventory information.
Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, and government regulations.
Coordinate vehicle maintenance or repair activities as required to ensure vehicles remain in good operating condition.

Approximate travel 40%, including weekends.

Required Skills/Experience:
Associate’s Degree and 5 years of experience in transportation and fleet management, chauffer/driver services.
