Mental Health First Aid Project Coordinator

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILISTIES
Summary: Duties include, but not limited to, conducting Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) trainings, conducting quality evaluation visits, providing coaching and technical assistance to MHFA/YMHFA instructors, managing marketing and communications for the program including newsletters, project website, and conference exhibit booths, and coordinating day to day program and grant operations.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Up to 50% travel in Missouri. Some nights and weekends may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, counseling or related social science field. 1-3 years of past experience in related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Public speaking and group facilitation skills. Knowledge of mental health. Proven work history with exceptional reliability and excellent attention to detail.

Training Required: Current MHFA/YMHFA certified instructor is preferred. If not currently certified, candidates must be able to pass instructor certification course after hiring. Application Instructions
