Rev's Operations department is critical in delivering speech to text services that are cheaper, faster and higher quality than our competition. As Rev's first Strategy & Operations Manager, you will help drive continuous improvement across these three key dimensions (price, turnaround time, quality).

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage large scale projects, drive to implementation and delivery of results.
  • Develop quarterly goals and maintain key metrics such as; margin, turnaround time and quality.
  • Use data and analytics to make strategic decisions and prioritize solutions.
  • Discover ways for the Rev organization to improve, work with engineers and the operations team to implement solutions to inefficiencies.
  • Drive decision-making with our senior executives and other Rev teams (Engineering, Product and Sales), prepare and deliver materials and analyses to support those decisions.
  • Effectively communicate program outcomes and insights to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years in operations, consulting, finance or similar analytical role.
  • A college grad from a top-tier institution.
  • Metrics-driven. You enjoy working with data and using numbers to dig out fresh insights about the business. (Excel skills needed, SQL is a plus)
  • Problem solver. You have the ability to look at something and not just identify that it is broken, but to also develop a systematic approach to a solution.
  • Self-starter and ability to prioritize. You will need to both identify specific operational challenges as well as "see the forest for the trees".
  • Confidence under pressure. We need someone who can execute several plays at once while dealing with factors outside their control.
  • Excellent communication skills. The ops team is highly distributed and interacts with a lot of groups.
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty. You will lead the team from the front and step in to get stuff done when needed.
