SRA OSS is looking for a smart and articulate Brand Strategist to join our team. Reporting to the CEO, this individual will have responsibility for the overall branding of the company. This individual will develop and drive the company's marketing strategy and will provide the leadership, team building and execution necessary to project the rich history of the company and its cutting-edge products and services. Specifically, this role is responsible for effectively positioning and promoting SRA OSS products and services to customers in direct and channel sales organizations and driving efforts to optimize investment in wireless and digital media marketing and align with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate has experience in the wireless, digital media & entertainment industries and has market savvy to help company in differentiating itself from competition through sustainable competitive advantages and build enterprise value.
Create and execute a visionary marketing strategy
Integrate company website with the positioning platform
Develop and drive a social media campaign to maximize awareness of SRAOSS brand
Identify and develop strategic alliances and partnerships
Create a central repository for all marketing materials
Create an institutional portfolio of case studies, articles and white papers and other print collateral
Develop a vision of focused participation in industry events.
Conduct cost-effective market surveys to measure company brand awareness
Liaise with the account managers and develop feedback gathering mechanism to factor into marketing strategy.
Monitor social media channels on a daily basis for news related to SRAOSS business areas and competition
Develop and maintain marketing calendar for company promotion events
Engage closely with sales teams and partners to review issues & opportunities.
Develop and implement of quarterly / annual marketing plans.
Desired Skills and Experience
BA or BS in Marketing, Communications or other relevant degree; MBA or other advanced degree would be a plus
High tech industry experience is a MUST
Minimum 10 years of professional experience
2+ years experience in the social media / online marketing industry
3+ years working within the wireless industry
Must have a thorough knowledge of marketing research methodologies.
Market-ready interpersonal skills and polish
Internet and IT savvy
Expert knowledge of the social media industry including channels such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, StumbleUpon, Myspace, Delicious, Digg, blogs, Wikis, etc.
Intermediate knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and social media effects on search engine results
Experience with producing high quality print collateral
Ability to work with website development team in making decisions pertaining to graphic design and presentation.
